HOMEWORK

Liquids & Surfaces

1. Water on glass = droplets moved outward and remained to have fairly smooth edges.

2. Water on aluminum = droplets stayed in place

3. Water on saran wrap = droplets stayed in place

4. Water on paper plate = droplets stayed in place but were slightly raised.

5. Vegetable oil on glass = when dropped immediately started expanding outward fast and combined with another droplet close by; however you can still distingush each droplet.

6. Vegetable oil on aluminum = when dropped immediately started expanding outward.

7. Vegetable oil on plastic = droplets stayed in place, but more raised (bubble like).

8. Tequila on aluminum = droplets stayed in place

9. Tequila on glass = droplets immediately started expanding towards one another completely combining with another droplet. Edges are more jagged, not round like on the wax paper.

10. Tequila on plastic = droplets stayed firm in place, no expansion.

11. Tequila on wax paper = droplets stayed firm in place but more raised (bubble like).
